Has holiday shopping got you stressed out? Are you ready to strangle the next person who tells you they've already done all of their Christmas shopping? Rest assured, you are not alone. I know the holidays stress people out for many reasons. The family is getting together, and you might be seeing relatives you haven’t seen in months, or even years. Then there’s the shopping... You don’t have a clue what to buy for those on your shopping list. You want to wow them, and give them something they will like and use. Here's some stocking-stuffer and gift suggestions for both him and her: Stocking StuffersBuying stocking stuffers is a great opportunity to introduce someone to a new product, by filling their stocking with new-to-them daily essentials. It can be a good moment for a quirky, iconic item. It's also a great way to surprise a loved one with something small and expensive, like a classic pair of stud earrings. For her:For Him:The GiftsI really enjoy giving gifts to people, and nail it almost every time. Let me tell you how I gift, and you might learn a new trick or two: I pay attention to what people around me use, and what they are into. I notice what they're missing to make their lives a little better. I pay attention when someone mentions something they would like to have. Keep these things in mind when making a gift shopping list or looking for a special gift: 1. Take the person's occupation in consideration. Do they work in an office and drink coffee all day? Maybe get them a cool something that will keep their coffee warm for a long time, like my favorite Zojirushi thermos. 2. Think about the giftee’s lifestyle. Are they a workaholic? Maybe they would like something to help them unwind, like a box set of their favorite tv show or movie trilogy, or a 3 month subscription to a wine or whiskey club. Maybe they work on their feet all day and would like a foot massager, comfy slippers, or a better pair of comfortable shoes. Does the person have hobbies? If they like to make crafts, buy them something that will help keep their hobby organized, or a tool they might like to have but haven't bought for themselves. Are they avid gym goers? They might appreciate a massage to help relax sore muscles. Workout gear like gym bags, sweat towels or foam rollers are always well appreciated gifts. Hope that was helpful, those are some things I take into consideration when giving a present to someone. If you are still in limbo as to what to get that person on your list, here are some more ideas that are sure to be winners with everyone on your list. These even make great Secret Santa gifts! 😉 For Her:With gifts, I try not to buy trendy items unless I know the person is into that kind of thing. For the his and her gift ideas I've stayed with classic items that are useful. In some cases a person might not think of buying a luxury item, like a wool or cashmere sweater, for themselves, and you can broaden their horizons with a well-considered gift. For Him:I hope you like the gifts ideas I shared with you! Please leave a comment below if you appreciated the information, found it helpful, or have an idea to add.
